Easiest way to turn your DVD into a DivX on a PC. This version works fairly reliably - current versions (0.8X) use the new DivX5 codec, and are jerky and buggy. The download page has all the extras you'll need, such as codec packs. This does not seem to work on Virtual PC.

Another easy way to make a DivX on a PC. Although I find it a bit annoying, it has the advantage of being the only method I've found (so far) of using PC encoding using Virtual PC on my Mac.
